Since Thursday March 24, the ApeX-Vigne application has been available on the App Store for iOS users, thanks to the work of Guilhem Brunel, lecturer at the Institut Agro Montpellier. This publication is part of the developments carried out for the DATI project (European research project aimed at developing low-cost irrigation management technologies for Mediterranean crops). By increasing the compatibility of the application with different operating systems, the number of potential users increases mechanically. These additional users will make it possible to democratize low-cost digital methods for controlling water stress in the vineyard. Finally, the acquisition of data from increasingly diversified sources makes it possible to improve the analyzes of this crowd-sourced data, to reduce noise and to better interpret trends at different geographical scales.
